Titus II Teachers College aims at equipping its Graduates with Global Citizenship Education that encourages peace and human rights, intercultural understanding, citizenship education, respect for diversity and tolerance, and inclusiveness. Global citizenship education instils cultural empathy for universal understanding.
Eventually, young people are able to take decisions creatively, solve problems critically, communicate ideas effectively and rise above any challenge that paralysis mankind. Learners grow more confident in standing up for their beliefs, and more skilled in evaluating the ethics and impact of their decisions.
Ek Bharat Sreshta Bharath project of the Government of India aims at allowing intercultural dialogues and opportunities for involving in activities that help develop this global concept locally by encouraging students to get involved in community-based activities first. It helps to create a way of thinking across many communities, cultures, and ways of life. It expands the thinking horizons beyond one's immediate identity and see oneself as part of a nation first and then as a global citizen placing oneself in the worldwide community. Networked with a State in the North of India, the College provides adequate opportunities to connect with new people, share knowledge and learning with others and enter into partnership with them on several projects of common concern. The club functions effectively under the leadership of a staff and student representatives.
The College makes it a responsibility for preparing learners to deal with all humanitarian aspects of emergencies, in particular preparedness, response and recovery in order to lessen the impact of disasters. The response towards Covid 19 is evident through the thought provoking presentations and awareness videos.
