To create a caring and well-structured learning environment for school students
To edify prospective teachers with the nuance of classroom management, inclusive practices, evaluation modes, general discipline, use of IT resources, and values of punctuality, neatness and establishment of cordial relationship
To receive expert and state-of-the-art guidance from school teachers regarding completion of tasks assigned
To provide teaching aids and learning materials to schools
To familiarise school teachers with novel modes of classroom teaching and IT resources

To enable student teachers to fullfill the requirement of School Induction and School Internship for the time periods specified by NCTE and the University.
To consider teacher trainees as regular teachers of that institution.
To allow student teachers to participate in the School assembly and other activities of the school.
To allot suitable classes for students and monitor their progress.
To give guidance to students regarding the rules and regulations of the school.
To get student teachers to mark their attendance and show the lesson trasnscripts to their respective class teachers either prior to or after the classes engaged.
To support student teachers when they face challenges of maintaing class discipline.
To provide opportunities for students to interact with different groups of students through club activities.
To prepare student teachers to engage in classes other than the one’s allotted to them.
To help trainess hinge classroom practices on values that are inclusive in nature.
To make an objective evaluation of their classroom teaching and submit a confidential report to the College.
To ensure that the portions and work allotted are vrought to a completion effectively.
To exempt them from classroom teaching during university examinations.
To continue the teaching of the portion from where student teachers were asked to stop on their closure of term during the induction and internship programmes.
