Objectives

  • To ensure a drug free campus.
  • To ensure the participation of students in anti-narcotic activities.
  • To motivate students to become volunteers of anti-narcotic activities in their life.
  • To ensure no sale of tobacco products inside the premise or nearby.

Action Plan

  • Conduct anti-drug rallies.
  • Poster presentation in schools showing hazardous effects of narcotic drugs

Anti-Ragging Cell

Objectives

  • To ensure a ragging free campus.
  • To aware the students of dehumanizing effect of ragging inherent in its perversity.
  • To keep a constant eye and vigilance over ragging so as to prevent its occurrance.
  • To address any ragging issues immediately and taken action as advised by the committee.

Plan of Action

  • Organise a slogan contest against ragging.
  • Conduct an orientation programme for students by experts.
  • To offer services of counselling and create awareness to the students.

Grievance Redressal

Objectives

  • To attend to grievances of students, teachers, non-teaching staff, and parents.
  • To ensure effective solution to the grievances of students and staffs with an impartial and fair approach.
  • To create awareness among the students and parents about their rights to get quality education guaranteed by the laws of our country.
  • To work towards building a strong positive healthy interpersonal relationship in the campus.

Action Plan

  • Organize a committee including students, parents and staffs with principal as the chairman/chairperson of the committee.
  • Once in every three months, there should be meetings to ensure the proper functioning of the cell.
  • Every grievance must be addressed by the committee and proper action must be taken within one week.
  • Any grievant, not satisfied with the decisions of the cell may make a fresh appeal to the cell for reconsideration.

  • Counselling varies from situation to situation.
  • It is a process initiated by the client or the student who is having aproblem.
  • It is a two-way interaction between aprovider&the client.
  • Assist the client to accept the reality.
